We are excited to offer Fine Arts enrichment camps, classes and workshops to ages 3-17!
The Youth Arts Camp program at the Workhouse has exploded with great opportunities in Fine Arts all year round. Campers work alongside professional artists and excel in several mediums, learning various techniques and creating unique artwork with every visit. Take a second look at our tuition rates, do the math, and find most of our camps might cost less than a babysitter! With a one-week Spring, an eight-week Summer, and a series of Mini Arts Camps, no child is ever left without an avenue to explore their creativity. See offerings below and register early for the camp of your choice.

Shoot straight into the world of Film & Animation with our instructors to complete a computer-assisted, stop-motion animation short film in ten days. From writing the script to creating the characters, campers will use all efforts to collaborate on their film. No matter what skill level, all are challenged according to their own experience. Oh, and don’t forget your DVD ‘demo reel’ at the conclusion of camp!
Don’t just play games; start creating them! Computer Game Design is one of the fastest growing and most transformational fields of study today. It integrates all of the STEM core competencies in a fun and engaging way, where students learn about computer technology, visual arts, storytelling, and music with creative and critical thinking and problem solving skills. The fun and adventure begin here! This class will use Microsoft’s Kodu, a fun and simple visual programming language made specifically to teach young people the fundamentals of programming and game design. Campers will first create their own “hands-on” board game and then translate it onto a computer game.
The Doodle Tots Arts Camp is a captivating, educational arts program for children ages 3 to 5 years old.
