Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga helps relieve the effects of stress by allowing the central nervous system to calm while the body is fully supported with the use of props (pillows, sofa cushions, blankets, etc) which stimulates deep relaxation. To deepen your experience, guided relaxation will be incorporated into the poses. Students will also have the opportunity to experience various self-Reiki hand positions. Reiki is an ancient form of universal energetic healing that encourages a state of balance, harmony, and self-healing. Prior to each class, Angie will let the students know which easy-to-find-at-home items to have nearby in order to be guided into the restorative poses.
