Adult Belly Dance

Explore the Ancient Art of Belly Dancing. Have fun while toning muscles, improving posture, increasing mobility, and gaining a sense of well-being. Contrary to its name, the dance focuses on more muscles groups than just the belly to include the abdomen, pelvis, trunk, spine, and neck. Muscles in the legs are also used to keep the dancer balanced while the arms and upper back muscles are engaged through various arm movements. This form of dance can aid in digestion and can be an excellent prenatal workout.  This class is 55 min. in length and will consist of a small warm up, drilling through the slow and fast movements of belly dance,  concluding with a choreography to build on each week.
